Wissahickon Hall

Driving past this building on curvy Lincoln Drive, you may only notice the 92nd District police cars. For as long as anyone can remember (at least since 1899) Wissahickon Hall has been a headquarters for the Park Guard and subsequently the police. However, this building served in a different capacity when it was built as the first of numerous inns that lined the Wissahickon Valley. Visitors came here for refreshments and respite. As an historic police station/inn, Wissahickon Hall has had a very varied clientele in its day.

Location:
Wissahickon Park
Lincoln Drive & Gypsy Lane
Philadelphia, PA 19129
