On Sunday, October 23, 2005 the Fairmount Park system held its 2nd annual Walk for the Park. This year's three-mile Walk started at Memorial Hall and traveled through West Fairmount Park highlighting the "hidden treasures" of this area, such as the Horticulture Center, the 1876 Centennial Exhibition, the Japanese House and Garden and the whispering benches.
