Adopt a Building Participate in a Special Event Volunteer

Support Your Park

As you might imagine, maintaining a 9,200-acre park system is no small task. If we were to write a "To Do" list, it might look something like this:
  1. Keep streams, creeks and river clean
  2. Mow lawns
  3. Remove trash
  4. Maintain trails, streambanks, playing fields and courts
  5. Preserve historic sites
  6. Prepare park land for events (630+ a year) held by third parties
  7. Find funding to support various park initiatives
  8. Plan and implement education programs at environmental education centers
  9. Manage care of street trees

By keeping our park system in tip top shape, everyone benefits.

We're extremely fortunate to have the support of 98,000 volunteers, over 80 Friends groups, partners like the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust, and generous investors. We're making great progress.

Make a Donation

Gifts for All Seasons

Special Events

Each year, Fairmount Park organizes its own special events to create awareness about our wonderful park system and to raise funds to support its programs and initiatives.

You can support our park by participating in one of our special events, such as the 2nd Annual Walk for the Park. You can also check out the calendar of events to see what other events area going on throughout Fairmount Park.

Volunteer
