Rockland Mansion With nearly all of its original 1801 features intact, Rockland Mansion is by all accounts an outstanding Philadelphia Federal style villa. Special features include a graceful elliptical staircase and four full-length sliding sash windows that connect the parlor with the back porch. Having undergone a complete restoration in the past four years after many years of neglect and abandonment, Rockland is one of the latest Fairmount Park success stories. Kudos to the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, who now calls Rockland home, and the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust for returning this gem to the showcase we always knew it could be.
