Ridgeland Mansion Built before 1763 on a hill overlooking the Schuylkill River, Ridgeland Mansion served for decades as a residence for Park directors. Today, Ridgeland stands for rejuvenation - in two ways. A choice example of the park's adaptive reuse strategy, this historic complex (house and barn) is home to The Suzanne Morgan Center at Ridgeland, an award winning non-profit organization that provides free support services to cancer patients and their families. A true sanctuary featuring a contemplation garden, this facility brings healing and hope into the park.
