| Established: 1987 |
|
| Mission: Originally the Friends of Fishtown painted over graffiti and cleaned lots in Palmer Park. However, when New Kensington Community Development Corporation got funding to carryout those tasks, the Friends of Fishtown shifted their focus slightly. They not only continued to clean the park, but also did some planting, painted benches and generally maintained the park. |
