| Mission: The Friends of Fernhill Park is a community volunteer, non-profit organization whose goals are to preserve the natural beauty of the park and to provide recreational and educational activities to the surrounding neighborhood. Fernhill Park is located in the heart of Southwest Germantown.
It is the organization's belief that community involvement in the park breeds a sense of pride and ownership in the neighborhood. This involvement promotes positive lasting relationships between neighbors. The Friends of Fernhill Park is recognized by the Fairmount Park Commission as the official friend’s group.
