Ohio House

The State of Ohio built Ohio House at the 1876 Centennial Exhibition to showcase the state's industrial capability and natural resources. As the only state building left from the Centennial, the Ohio House has a storied history for all World Fair lovers.
The exterior stonework features 21 different Ohio sandstones with inscriptions indicating the source quarries. Complete with the state seal of Ohio above the door, this building has been lovingly restored to its former glory and is now open as the Centennial Cafe.

Open for breakfast, lunch and snacks it is the new hot spot in West Fairmount Park complete with free Wifi access. Buy a signature travel mug (which helps support the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust) and coffee refills for 2008 are only $1.00! The beef brisket sandwich in particular is getting rave reviews so check out what all the fuss is about and stop on in next time you are in the vicinity of Belmont and Montgomery Drives. We think you'll be a fan.
