Ohio House
The Ohio House was built in 1876 for the Centennial Exhibition to showcase the State of Ohio's industrial capability and natural resources. As the only state building left from the Centennial, the Ohio House boasts a rich history and exciting future. The exterior stonework features 21 different Ohio sandstones with inscriptions indicating the source quarries. Complete with the State Seal of Ohio above the door, this building has been lovingly restored to its former glory and is a convenient meeting place: the Centennial Cafe. The Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday. It is complete with free Wifi access. It is also available for private events. It is just right for your special occasion from birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Indoor and outdoor facilities are available in season.
