Northeast Chamber of Commerce Building

Fairmount Park buildings are home to several offices. This one is in the heart of the Northeast. Supporting the business community of Northeast Philadelphia and its 900 members, the Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce has occupied and maintained the building since the 1970s. Appropriately, the Chamber works to promote historic sites in the business district. Although at first glance it doesn't appear historic, the Chamber building is almost seventy years old (1937) and was constructed for the Park Guard who patrolled Pennypack Park.
