FDR Park Gazebo

Built in 1914 as part of the original plan for League Island, the Gazebo commands views of the surrounding landscape. (Trivia Question: What was this park's name before it was known as FDR? Answer: League Island.) Its red tile roof, buff masonry, and blue Guastavino tile dome contribute to an elegant appearance. Great place to have a picnic and catch a glimpse of nature in South Philadelphia or come here to have your wedding pictures taken.

Location:
FDR Park
1750 FDR Parkway
