| Enjoy a fun family day of maple sugaring in the Wissahickon Valley. Demonstrations will include tapping trees, collecting sap, boiling sap into syrup and making maple candy! Storytellers will tell how Native Americans discovered this purely North American treat. Top off the day by tasting pure maple syrup over delicious pancakes. Pennsylvania maple syrup and maple candy will be for sale. This event is FREE. |
