| Fairmount Park Day "Signature Project" in East Park |

| Join volunteers from Greater Philadelphia Cares and the community in beautifying the 33rd & Poplar Streets "gateway" to East Fairmount Park. Volunteers will remove invasive vegetation, pick up trash and recyclables, and plant native shrubs. Help make this area an attractive, vibrant entrance to East Fairmount Park. We will provide tools and possibly gloves, although volunteers are strongly encouraged to bring gloves. Call (215) 683-0217 for information and to sign up. Where: 33rd and Girard in front of the historic Hatfield House. |
