DESIGNED LANDSCAPES
Some areas within the Fairmount Park system are very well known. Others aren't as familiar. You've probably passed by these less familiar areas many times. In fact, were it not for a Fairmount Park sign designating certain green spaces as park land, you probably wouldn't realize they were.
These "designed landscapes" are peppered throughout the city. They aren't categorized as squares or one of the 63 neighborhood and regional parks that comprise the Fairmount Park system.
