Courtesy Stables Courtesy Stables is a historic stable located in the "Andorra" section of the city. It is home to 12 privately owned horses. Courtesy Stables has direct access into the Wissahickon Valley & is privy to some of the most fabulous riding trails in the city. Walt Sasse, retired Philadelphia Mounted Policeman, manages the boarding & lessons program at the barn, offering both Western & English riding disciplines. The Boarders & Stewards of Courtesy Stables, a 501c3 non-profit organization, manages the facility.
