Bartram's Garden
Looking for a new place to take your students? Each year over 10,000 pre-school through high school kids visit
Bartram's Garden to experience hands-on history, science and nature programs. Choose from several programs including
cider-making, botanical illustration, apiculture, ornithology, Native Americans, archaeology, colonial food
preparation, medicinal herbs and more.
No longer in school? Check out the historic and horticultural lectures and workshops at the Garden. Interested in
learning more about John Bartram, American's first botanist? Feed your curiosity with a trip to the John Bowman
Bartram Special Collections Library where you'll find a wealth of Bartram-related books, documents, photographs
and other archival information.
